As the Association continues to innovate, improve, and evolve, three of the goals of your Board of Directors for 2021 include the following:
The PAGCS is excited to announce a partnership with T. Bloom LLC, a local career development and recruiting company tailored to the golf and turf industry. The company’s mission is to proactively support career development in the industry, which aligns with our goals. All 2021 class A/B and C memberships in the PAGCS will be eligible for career development that may consist of resume and cover letter development, interview tips, or a mock interview. We hope that this initiative helps our members to achieve their career goals as well as give the members of the Association an advantage in job placement searches.
This service is based on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to be part of this exciting new endeavor, please let us know at the time you renew your membership for 2021. To kick off this partnership, Tyler Bloom will lead a one-hour Zoom Webinar on February 9 at 2 p.m. to go over the basics of resume and cover letter writing, interviewing tips, and professional growth. This event is open to all members of the Association.
As we move forward in 2021, and hopefully return to a sense of a new normal, look for further initiatives, specifically targeted for our Affiliate members and Sponsors, to continue to promote networking and aide in sales growth.
