The 2023 Application Process Closes 9/1/2023
These scholarships are funded by the generosity of benefactors Frank T. Shuman, George E. Ley, and PAGCS members and supporters via the annual PAGCS Scholarship Tournament. Please see the links below for instructions and application forms.
The PAGCS Turf Student Scholarship Program is open to all undergraduate or post graduate students currently enrolled in a two or more year accredited program related to golf/turfgrass management with an expected graduation after September 1, 2023.
Applicants are required to have a sponsoring Superintendent and are currently working for a PAGCS Superintendent member [sponsor must also submit a recommendation form–see below].
Applicants must also have an Academic Advisor submit a recommendation form–see below.
Applicants will be evaluated based on academic achievement, potential to become a leading professional, employment history, extracurricular activities, the recommendations of both a Superintendent and current Academic Advisor, and the Letter of Intent.
Previous recipients may reapply as long as they meet all eligibility requirements.
